Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to kick off the spooky season than with these DIY paper plate Halloween spiders. This 5 minute craft is perfect for ages 4 and up and a great way to get them logged off on screen-time. By the way these Halloween spiders make awesome home decor as well! Just sit them atop a mantle or hang them between cobwebs.
What’s great about this craft is it only requires a few craft supplies you can easily find at home or at your local dollar store. Follow the instructions below to make your very own spooky paper plate spiders.

Supplies:
- Paper plates
- Black paint
- Black pipe cleaners
- Paintbrush
- Googly eyes
- Glue
Instructions:
- Paint the back of the paper plate black and leave it to dry. (Every paper plate makes two spiders!)
- Cut 4 pipe cleaners in half then form them into a zigzag formation.
- Once the paint has dried, arrange the pipe cleaners or legs towards the rounded end of the plate and glue down.
- Add googly eyes and you’re done!
